Ten day’s of excellent theatrical performances and other cultural events! The Annual Stage Festival Ruše begins each year at the end of August – there are around 35 different performances lined up and around ten thousand visitors.
CEZAM and the Summer stage: “Let the streets, halls and the summer stage at the foothills of Pohorje become alive once more! “
Already for some years now the theatre stage at the foothills of Pohorje has been thriving as we try to bring life back to it. Namely, in the Youth Centre we believe that cultural heritage should be completely taken over, protected and revived. Consequently amateur culturists as well as professional artists perform on Ruše’s stage, who world wide enrapture audiences in capital cities. Beside the main program of the annual theatrical stage, you can also visit:

- musical performances,
- fine arts activities, dancing and more.
Summer theatre since 1932
Ruše’s natural summer theatre Pod goroj was built below the foothills of Pohorje in the year 1932. Ever since it was founded it carried out a cultural and national awakening mission among the people of Ruše and all conscious Slovenes respectively. Year after year it attracted audiences and filled the stone amphitheatre.
