The trail begins at the border crossing Jurij and continues through the border villages of Špičnik, Slatina, Svečina, Ciringa, Podigrac and Kresnica. The trail’s best view is from Plački vrh. From here you can go in one of two directions, either past Repolusk to Šentilj or through the village of Kresnica via the hill Brlog and along the Šentilj Alpine Trail northwards to the state border, heading for Šentilj.
So that you see far and wide
The viewing tower Plački vrh stands on a 510 metre high peak close to the border. The tower is 28 metres high, and from it there is a panoramic view. Just below Plački vrh there is a road leading from Zgornja Kungota through Podigrac. From the road, just below Plački vrh, there is a stimulating short ascent to the viewing tower.
