Friendship and Culture Trail The trail, which is denoted with a marvellous view of the hills of Slovenske gorice and leads over the border crossing into Austria, will take you to family and tourist farms where you will be fortified with typical homemade dishes and excellent wine! From Jurij to … Jurij! The trail begins at the border crossing Jurij, from where it leads towards the Dvoršak homestead and then again in the direction of the frontier with Austria to the Weingerl homestead onŠpičnik. After that the trail takes you to the Dreisiebner farm, then through a vineyard south of the Gaube farm. In an easterly direction the trail climbs to the border crossing Špičnik, after that continues the trail along a local road past the Balun farm in the valley and towards the tourist farm Elšnik. Between vineyards and orchards head east past the Jarc and Matjašič farms, until you reach the Jamnik farm. After that go on to the asphalt road by the Jamšek farm. Here head towards the south in the direction of the village of Svečina, where the trail wends its way past the Vdovič farm and on towards the Leber farm and the settlement of Grušen, where you head downhill in to the village of Jurij. In Jurij go past the church and cemetery on the crest Jurski vrh and to the Vodenik homestead, where the trail goes down towards the south into the valley past the Fanedl farm and ends at the border crossing Jurij, from where you started off on the trail.
