This trail begins on Sveti Duh na Ostrem vrhu and continues along the slopes of Kozjak, offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills, Austria and the peak Peca; at the same time you will come across natural, ethnological and historical sights.
…on Sveti Duh na Ostrem vrhu, where stand the famous pilgrimage churches of Holy Spirit and St Augustine, and which annually attract hundreds of pilgrims from Slovenia and Austria for Pentecost. There, in the close vicinity of the border crossing, you can also look at the NOB commemorative.
The trail will firstly lead you pass the Teja lodge and on along the Kozjak slopes by the state border to the Vauher farm and past other farms on our and the Austrian side.
The path continues towards the valley along a forest past a chapel to the Robnik farm, where there is a pond with beautiful flora, then the trail continues up to the Postl farm and then downhill to the Kladnik farm. Here you can visit the remains of the Ceklov’s mill, after which the trail continues to the Strnad and Cepec farms.
