In the centre you can indulge in the joys of honey!
In the presentation room you can learn about honey and things linked with it, and at the same time you can taste a wide selection of different types of Slovene honey (fir honey, as well as pine, chestnut, acacia, linden, flower and forest honey), also for groups booked in advance honey tasting is free. For a fee you can also taste mead, honey liqueurs and honey-pear (honey brandy) and honey champagne at the Ambrose cellar of the Betnava Mansion. The beekeeper patron is namely St. Ambrose.
In summertime you can visit the apiary - we will show you the interior of the apiary, beehives and the course of the life of bees. For easier understanding we have a glass-made beehive, which is used for observing the work of bees on the honeycomb. Throughout the year you can also visit the permanent exhibit on show in the multi-purpose hall in Betnava mansion.
