The New Year's Eve celebrations at the square Trg svobode in Maribor are a unique experience in the old town core. The event, which is extremely well visited, brings together the best Slovene ensembles and soloists. A special experience of the evening is the midnight firework display from the General Maister Square (Trg generala Maistra).
