The attention of all lovers of rocks and those, who are just curious, will certainly be aroused by two interesting sites of protected rocks, which can be found in the nearby surroundings of our city: Huzarski skok and Vražje skale.
Huzarski skok
At the outfall of the Kamnik stream into the Drava you can see an interesting site of protected rock. Here the stream pierces through the gorge, cut into black marine marl – the wall fro the mentioned rock is called Huzarski skok.
Vražje skale
By the mountain trail Kamnica-Urban you will come across Vražje skale, a picturesque rock mass, formed from conglomerate stratums on the top of the rising ground, which bears the same name. Also this site belongs among protected natural sights.
