A rally for different tastes... you can see daring rally drivers at several interesting locations in Maribor and its surroundings.
Several speed tests will unwind:
- 1st day: the best attended speed test is definitely the one taking place on the bridge Koroški most in the centre of the city;
- 2nd day: Saturday’s part of the rally is composed of three speed tests in the morning – speed test Meljski hrib, speed test Gaj and speed test in Austria; in the afternoon the rally will also include the speed test Arena on the foothill of the Pohorje mountain, which will take place on macadam parking places;
- 3rd day: on the programme is the longest speed test over the Pohorje chain, which has become a synonym for the Maribor rally. Spectators can take the cable railway up to the top of Pohorje and also on Sunday at the foothill of Pohorje you can see the speed test Arena. The speed test Jarenina is actually a circular test where the drivers will have to drive two circles on a very fast roadway on which there is also expected to be a lot of sand.
The central point of the rally together with the service zone is in front of the hall Dvorana Tabor in Maribor during the three days of the rally. The start and finish of the rally will be at the square Trg svobode, where during the rally there will be also a locked parking place.
This is an international championships event,for which this rally gives points for the following: Open State Championship of Slovenia, Open State Championship of Austria and the Championship AŠ Cup.
