Maribor Regional Museum would like to inform you that due to the final stage of renovation of the castle and the preparation of the new permanent exhibition we are closing our exhibitions from the 1st October 2011 on.
Archeology, ethnology and comprehensive cultural history on the grounds of the Maribor region and its surroundings – all this has been collected in the Maribor Castle, a prominent architectonic monument, which in all its opulence stands in the heart of the old town core.
Visit the Regional Museum, a general museum dealing with collecting, protecting, researching, exhibiting and the popularizing of movable cultural heritage – enjoy the culture and history of our museum!
Also for lovers of music and youngesters
We also use our museum rooms for different events such as concerts, lectures and professional gatherings. Special attention is given to younger visitors, for whom we organize professional guidance in the form of lessons and ocassional children's workshops.
