Slovenska Bistrica - Tinje - Trije kraljisentenceend

Set off along this attractive trail, which will bring you many interesting natural and cultural sights right from the very start in Slovenska Bistrica to the end at the Church of the Epiphany (Trije kralji) on Pohorje, a popular destination of alpinists.

On the trail of wonderful views

From Slovenska Bistrica head to the Impol factory and continue along the old road to Tinje. (The trail can also be started in the village of Tinje, which can be reached via an asphalt road from Slovenska Bistrica.) In Tinje you will find the first sign, which will lead you left past a shop, then up steps past the Church of St Peter and Paul. Above Planina pod Šumikom there are fewer trail signs and orientation is somewhat more demanding. The trail begins to quickly climb and then it changes into a more gently sloping cart track, which will lead you to the Alpine trails crossroads. From there it is just a few minutes to the lodge at Trije kralji, where you can rest and regain your strength with tasty homemade food. Trije kralji is also an excellent starting point for a number of other trails that lead over Pohorje.

A variety of trails

In Tinje instead of turning left past the Church of St Peter and Paul head in the direction of the Church of St Urh and the way to Trije kralji via Močnik. The third trail variant to Trije kralji leads from Slovenska Bistrica through the Bistriška gorge and past Močnik.
