This trail leads along Kozjak’s forested slopes to above Selnica ob Dravi and on to Gaj above Maribor, then returning back to the staring point. The trail begins at Zg. Kovač at the bridge over the Bistrica stream, by the main road, which comes from Sp. Slemena na Sv. Duh na Ostrem vrhu; there we can observe the famous piles for making charcoal. A walk, with an accompanying wonderful view of the surrounding hills, takes us partly through the forest and partly along the slopes of the well known Lipuš, Rumpf, and Ročič farms and the tourist farm Grace-Namestnik to Žavcarjev vrh, where we can take refreshments in an Alpine lodge. After that we continue past the Vodopivec farm and over the gently sloping meadow to the forest, through which we come to the Smolnik farm and Šiker farm with its natural pond, and we can also visit the hunter's lodge located nearby.
When we come to the asphalt road, at the first turning onto a macadam road we turn right past the Gradišnik - Špajser and Vicman farms, then along the path which takes us through the forest to the Plož, Pipuš-Šunk, Pertlek, Karmon, Finster and Krampl farms. The last part of the trail takes us to the hostel Škorpijon dom, where it is possible to stay overnight.
