The transfer of bicycles as personal luggage is permitted by the Slovene Railways on the local lines of the following trains: * Intercity (IC), international (MV) and regional (RG) trains, which have in their composition an official -luggage wagon;
* official compartments in diesel locomotives (up to bikes) and electric locomotives (up to 20 bikes);
* the Auto-Train on the route Bohinjska Bistrica-Most na Soči-Bohinjska Bistrica has space for bikes in a special wagon.
The price for bike transportation is a unit and does not depend on the distance.
In case of overbooked trains we advise you to check before you arrive at a railway station by calling Tel. +386 (0)1 291 33 32.
If you are travelling in a group of more than ten cyclists, register your journey at the station of departure at least eight days before the start of your journey. International transport to bicycles is only possible by earlier agreement.
